Mission Support for Romania

We support outreach work in two areas of Romania, Bucharest and Arad.

Sorin Badragan is an assistant pastor at a church in Bucharest, we have forged strong links with him over the years that he has been visiting the UK to further his studies at Oxford. He is now married, and blessed with two young girls.  As well as supporting Sorin, our Mums and Toddlers group sponsor a child through their Project Ruth scheme.

At the other (Western) end of the country is Arad, where the Maranata childrens home is located. This sprang from the infamous Romanian orphanages of the 1980s, but has been run on Christian principles for many years, and has shaped several generations of young people.   

Philip has organised summer working parties for many years to help with the upkeep of both the Maranata orphanage itself, and the holiday house out in the country.
