Milton Keynes Food Bank
As part of our expressions of compassion for the poor, Winslow Vineyard is supporting the work of MK FoodBank.

You won't find this Bank on the government's Bail out list, but it's one that needs frequent deposits to maintain the outflows - only these are not loans, but gifts of FOOD to the needy in Milton Keynes and surrounding area. Literally on our own doorstep.
If you wonder why this service is needed in our society, have a look at this report on the BBC news site:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-11427207
See their website here for full information about this ministry 'Into the Community' of the Oldbrook Christian centre. Don't miss the video on the home page - see a side of MK that most people are unaware of, or choose to ignore. You can download their latest newsletter from their site, or better yet sign up to receive your own copy directly.
There is a collection point for donations of items from this shopping list at our Sunday morning service.
